This Pictorial Village Sign is located at the southern entrance to the small village of Love, Saskatchewan. The sign is shaped like a heart and is hand-painted with a nature scene typical for this location. Above the sign are the words "GATEWAY TO THE NARROW HILLS".
There are a number of theory of how the village was named, but according the village website "we tend to believe it was named in honor of the first C.P.R. conductor, Tom Love" (cybervillagemall.com/sk/love/thevillageoflove.htm, accessed 11 November 2015).
A second sign of similar design is located in the central part of the village; it reads "YOU ARE NOW IN LOVE".
