Man o'War was born on March 29, 1917 at August Belmont's Nursery Stud and grew to become one of the greatest races horses of all time, winning 20 of 21 races and amassing lifetime earnings of $249,465. Man o' War sired 62 stakes winners, of which the most famous was triple crown winner War Admiral. Man o' War died on November 1, 1947 and is buried beneath this statue located at the Kentucky Horse Park, near Lexington, Kentucky.
