Je tedy doplnením ke kašne s vodou znázornující umírnenost, soše s krychlí predstavující spravedlnost a mape Brna z doby tricetileté války znamenající prozíravost.

bronze statue
Height: from country to helm measured 6.5 meters, with a total height of the spear (which holds the slider) 8 m
(unlike most other equestrian statues, this statue does not stand on a pedestal, but directly on the ground)

This statue completed the three existing works expressing the four symbols of Plato's Republic located on Moravian Square.
Thus adding to the fountain with water showing moderation, with cubes statue representing justice and the map of Brno from the Thirty Years War, meaning acumen.
Ak. sculptor Jaroslav Rona statue Jobst formed three years. He considers it his most important work. According to him, the most difficult was to keep the clay sculpture in ideal temperature and humidity. He molded her in the barn, which was badly heats, over the winter there were about seven degrees. Statue created in two parts, because in one piece and in a seven-meter height would be unable model. When the statue pieced together, they had to dismantle the barn roof and crane deployed outside the upper body to the lower part of the sculpture.

Rendering Margrave Jobst riding provoked much discussion. Main characteristics Jobst had not the courage (as it should symbolize this work), but rather diplomacy.
Fate works but then became almost as complicated as the Jost himself. The Commission chose the first proposal, authored by the now deceased Marius Kotrba, who created the Moravian square has a statue of Justice. But the city nor the citizens of Brno the winning design did not like, and in 2011 announced a new competition. A 21 sent models chose rendition Margrave Jobst riding by Jaroslav Rona.
On the part of the then city leaders heard several times: "The error was in entering. We could not decide if we want to Jobst, or courage. Therefore, it is necessary to look at the statue with a certain detachment. "

Award for work in excess of 7 million crowns.
