For a small fee ($1.75 in 2006) visitors can ride a glass elevator to three observation decks at the top of the tower. It is said that the view from the observation deck, which is over 170' above ground, extends for 20 miles. Tower Park claims there are no other structures like this in the United States.
In addition to the water tower/observation deck, Tower Park has a children's playground and a bronze monument of Abraham Lincoln designed by Gutzon Borglum (designer of Mt. Rushmore).
