The Helisul Taxi Aereo company has been in business since 1972 and currently provides tourists the opportunity to see Iguazzu Falls from the comfort of a helicopter.
The company operates from a facility near the entrance to Parque National du Igaucu, on the Avenue du Cataratas. The helipad appears to be an asphalt covering over a concrete base and has a green diamond painted on the asphalt.
My husband and I had the opportunity to splurge and take a ride on one of their helicopters in May 2015 during our vacation to Brazil. The personnel were all polite, highly attuned to safety, and my husband (who was career Air Force) priased our "lady pilot" by saying she operated the controlls as smoothly as anyone he has encountered.
