This lobstermobile, once owned by a restaurant, is now retired and donated to the Maine Maritime Museum.

In Bath, within the Maine Maritime Museum, is this unique car called the Lobstermobile.
The car is presently located next to the building holding a lobstering exhibit. The museum is located about a quarter mile south of the Bath Iron Works and well south of downtown Bath. You need to pay admission to access the location (base general admission is $15).
The car is a small Volkswagon painted red, with additional parts that are in the form of a lobster in red. The lobster main body is on top of the car and protruding forward. The claws are on either side of the windshield. The tail extends across the rear.
According to the Maine Maritime Museum web site, the care use to be part of the Orlando, Florida restaurant Boston Lobster Feast. After 15 years in Florida, it was retired, and donate to the museum. It is now part of the permanent exhibit about lobstering on the Maine Coast.
