Pierwsze w Krakowie kino "Wanda" otwarto w listopadzie 1912 r. w budynku przy ul. Gertrudy zbudowanym specjalnie dla tej instytucji. Sala miescila ok. 500 osób. Po niemal stu latach dzialalnosci w miejscu kina powstal sklep spozywczy.

"Wanda" was the first cinema in Kraków, opened in November 1912 in the building in Gertrudy str. designed specially for this purpose. The auditorium was intended for ca. 500 spectators. After nearly 100 years of operation the cinema was replaced with a grocery store.
