In Wells, within Wells Reserve, is this cairn sitting along a ridge overlooking a field.

Wells Reserve is a research facility with trails for hikers to walk along through fields, woods, and estuaries. This cairn was located along a trail that extended from the flagpole in front of the house, through a field and into woods to the south.

The cairn is about 20 ft from the path. A sign located by the path states not to approach the cairn. The structure is an arch about 2 ft high. Many of the rocks used are wedge-shaped, helping to form the curve. One rock is extra long on the right - forming a platform.

I could find nothing about this cairn on the Wells Reserve web site. There is a small admission charged.
