Buildings and Equipement:
Two domes and an attached classroom building, made possiable as a collaborative effort between Jasper County and the Des Moines Astronomical Society. The domes main scopes are a 16inch 'Newtonian' and a 16inch Meade Reflector. There are also pads outside for smaller portable telescopes.

Viewing:
There are number of public viewing events during the spring, summer and fall months (and even into winter!). Upcoming events can be seen on the DMAS Events page.
