The summit was once home to a weather station and a rough hotel, though now only a cairn and stone shelter occupies the summit.Access is via a stony track from Achintee Farm just outside Fort William. The summit is rough and boulder strewn with no vegetation, and is covered in snow for much of the year. The views, however, are fantastic and extend over much of the Highlands. Can get overcrowded so get up early. Photo welcomed but not compulsory.
