A glacial erratic is on display in front of the town hall of Oltingen.

This erratic block was found in 1994 at a construction site in Oltingen and brought to the town hall.
The block is siliceous limestone, about two meters long with a weight of 31 metric tons.
The block originates from the Wallis Alps about 100 kilometers away and has been brought here in the Ice Age by the Rhone Glacier.
