In front of the so-called 'Museum am Löwentor', a museum for ancient animals like dinosaurs, is a timeline located explaining the formation of earth from the Big Bang till 3.5 billion years.

The timeline is attached to the pavement. It consists of a white line and five aluminium plaques.

The timeline can be accessed without any fee or restrictions.
Inside the museum a very simular timeline continues the formation of life. But you have to pay an entrance fee!
