C'était un pont de service établi sur la Bouzanne à l'occasion de la construction d'un viaduc ferroviaire au milieu du XIXe siècle. Il fut rapidement doublé par un pont routier sans être démoli et est resté utilisé pour un trafic agricole modeste. Il a été restauré récemment et est désormais réservé aux piétons.
