Sebastiano D'ercole was killed in the Bellevue Mine Explosion that took place on December 9, 1910. 30 men lost their lives as a result of the explosion. The explosion was caused by methane gas that ignited and a poor ventilation system.

The zinc headstone is small, typical in design. The inscription (loosely translated) is in Italian:

At the age of 29 years
Placed by friends with signs of affection

St. Anne Roman Catholic Cemetery has approximately 900 interments and is still active today. The cemetery was established in the early 1900s.
