Located in the sendero de los petroglifos (Petroglyph's trail), in finca Magdalena, Ometepe.
The place has an entrance fee of 54 cordobas (about 2 dollars).
The oldest petroglyph in Ometepe dates back to 1000 B.C., made by the indigenous populations of the island, in this area the drawings include animal forms with round heads, as well as, some undecipherable symbols, size is also variable.
Visit Instructions:1. You may log as many different waymarks as you wish but you may only log each one once.
2. You must include a close up photo of the pictograph and your GPSr. The pictograph must be recognizable.
