You will find this hand operated pump on the grounds of the former one room school house, which is now a museum and registered heritage site.
I don't know when the pump was functional but the school was opened in 1888 and closed in 1969. It's a neat little place that only takes a few minutes to explore.
On the same grounds is the United Church.
