The automated telemetry system is embedded in a cement structure beside a large boulder on the water's edge & has a set of gauges at various steps up the bank, to a height of 13.9 metres. When I was there this afternoon the river was approx .4 of a metre high according to the gauge with the web site showing the river's height at 08:30 pm as .46 metres.
RIVER GAUGE INFORMATION:
River height plots provide a graphical view of recent observations at a station. The data has been collected in real time either by polling the station or by the station reporting the data on its own by radio transmission. This plot brings together all the data received over the last 4 or 7 days (this varies according to how quick the river behaviour is).
