The Meadowbrook Meat Market is the place to go when one wants only all natural Omega rich pork for the table.

This market/butcher shop is sited on the farm where the pork is raised, all of it natural and without any anti-biotics or steroids. The pigs are fed almost exclusively with feed also grown on the farm, all chemical free. As well as their own pork they butcher and sell beef, lamb and free range poultry, much of it raised in Atlantic Canada.

Meadowbrook is the only pork producer in the Atlantic Provinces that produces all-natural anti-biotic free pork that is rich in Omega 3 and 6. We raise our hogs from farrow to finish, with the majority of our feed made from grain we grow. As a provincially inspected market, we take pride and effort in bringing safe products to our customers. We specialize in “The Jimmie Lamb Ham” and process our own bacons, sausages, Jimmie Dog (wieners), bologna, and deli meats; all free of animal by-products and MSG.

We operate a retail market six days a week where you can buy individual cuts or a side of pork for your freezer. In addition to our pork, we sell local Atlantic beef, much of it grown in Nova Scotia, which can be purchased as cuts, quarters or sides. In addition, we also carry local lamb (whole and cuts) and free range poultry. As our wholesale business continues to grow, we are privileged to supply our meats to quality businesses such as restaurants, markets and long term care facilities throughout the HRM and western Nova Scotia.
