This boardwalk leads from the parking area to the beach Spiaggia di Porto Giunco along the shore of the shallow lagoon Stagno Notteri inside the maritime protection zone of Cabo Carbonara. The lagoon is a habitat of flamingos which can often be observed here, please do not disturb them.
A second nearby boardwalk leads from the parking through the dunes to the beach a few meters to the south, runs a little along the beach end ends nearly at the same spot close to the lagoon's shore.
