This one actually surprised me with the number of shoes there were in the tree.

We had known about this shoe tree so we intentionally took Highway 1 just so we could go by it.

Right on the west side of Highway, slightly over a mile south of Hogdon Corners, this is a big oak tree with an equally big load of shoes hanging from it. Shoes of all types, some thrown over the branches, some actually tied to the tree. As shoe trees go, this one is probably pretty impressive. I wouldn't know as this is the only shoe tree I've laid eyes on.
