Constructed in the early 1960s with the aid of the Dutch Reformed Church in the Crowsnest Pass at Passburg (now a ghost town), the chapel did not always stand at its present site. Sometime in the early 1980s it was moved from Passburg to the present location. There is seating inside for, at best, fourteen (small) people, with six small pews and a small pulpit at the front. Apparently, at one time the windows were green.
The chapel was built with Gothic arched windows, but new vinyl siding has covered the arches so that now we see peaked windows. The entry retains its arch, however.
In the small bell tower is a bell, upon which is engraved:
DONATED BY
CANADIAN PACIFIC RAILWAY
JUNE 1960
Atop the bell tower is a square spire surmounted by a gold finial and rod.
The chapel remains open continuously for the use of passersby.
