It was donated by Bev Dingwall and Jillian Bartells in 1994. Built in Charleville this type of wagon was normally drawn by 8 draft horses, and designed to carry wool, wheat and general goods. This example was built as a wool wagon for use on Victoria Downs. It was bought from here by Les Walsh, then Jack Sydney, then Malcolm Dingwall who used it to cart tank sinking equipment around the Injune and Gunnewin districts.
The wagon was last used in the 1960's by Malcolm & his son Allan to cart fence posts.
Type and Quantity: One wool wagon
Opening Hours: It is beside the carpark for The Big Rig & open during daylight hours.
