Vor ca. 4,6 Milliarden Jahren entstand unsere Erde. Legt man diese gewaltige Zeitspanne auf die Strecke des Plattenwegs von hier bis zum Museum um, so entspricht ein Zentimeter dieses Weges eine Zeitspanne von 1,5 Millionen Jahren, eine Millionen Jahre Erdgeschichte sind also nur 6,7 Millimeter auf dem Plattenweg! Timeline of Earth History

Before about 4.6 billion years ago the Earth was created. Taking this enormous amount of time on the track of the path from here to the Museum in order, so one centimeter of this path corresponds to a period of 1.5 million years, a million years of geological history are therefore only 6.7 millimeters on the path!
