Great Links tor trig pillar ranks as Dartmoor's 2nd highest trig pillar. It sits at an elevation of 1,896 ft above sea level and easily accessed as is on open moorland. The tor is a magnificent rocky outcrop with outstanding views to the west. To the East can be seen the healed scars of the peat cutting industry and to the South a deep valley where Tin extraction by both mining but predominently streaming (Alluvial working) took place over the last few centurys.
