EN: The Altes Gebäu (old buil') is a baroque city palace in Chur. It was built in 1727-1729 for Peter von Salis-Soglio, who had accumulated an enormous fortune as an officer and diplomat abroad. The architect was David Morf (1700-1773). For the construction several older buildings had to be demolished, the most famous of which, the former tavern "to the dusty hat", which had become famous as the location of the murder of Jürg Jenatsch in 1639.

That of Buildings is very simple on the outside, but in the interior is rich in stucco and paintings. Originally, the house and the adjacent park was surrounded by a wall. The garden is a public park today.

Altes Gebäu is now the seat of the Cantonal Court of Graubünden and not publicly accesible.

Das Gebäde ist äusserlich sehr schlicht, aber im Innern reich an Stuckaturen und Malereien. Ursprünglich war das Gelände und der angrenzende Park von einer Mauer umgeben. Der Garten ist heute ein öffentlicher Park.

Das alte Gebäu ist heute der Sitz des Kantonsgerichts Graubünden und nicht öffentlich zugänglich.
