This old jail is located in Columbia, Alabama.

The jail was built in the 1860s is one of the last wooden jails still standing in Alabama. It originally had two cells, 10x15 feet each. The interior walls are studded every 2 inches with iron spikes to prevent prisoners from escaping.

Today it is used as a museum to preserve historical items of the area.
