The climb to the top of the lookout tower,s is over 220 steps up a spiral stairs, with a vertical rope as a handrail. The lookout towers are over 100 feet high.
Views from the top of any of the towers offers the visitor spectacular views of the town, surrounding coastline and countryside. Yatchts & pleasure-craft dot the picturesque harbour & quayside next to the castle, & superior views of the three landmark bridges.
