Sculptures mérovingiennes incrustées dans la façade de l'église. L'iconographie est inconnue En levant la tête, on peut voir plusieurs sculptures en méplat incrustées dans la façade. Elles sont visiblement d’une époque bien antérieure à la construction de l’église, probablement mérovingienne ou carolingienne. Peut-être proviennent-elles d’une église construite antérieurement. Si leur origine est inconnue, leur iconographie est tout aussi énigmatique. Les personnages sculptés sont les témoins d’un art encore très primitif. Pour ce qui est de leur signification, plusieurs hypothèses sont avancées : une iconographie de Saint Florent, le couple, voir pour 2 d’entre elles la possibilité d’évoquer l’Annonciation et la Visitation. Mais la question reste entière.
