"l puente de Piedra de Logroño es uno de los cuatro puentes que atraviesan el río Ebro a su paso por la capital riojana. También es denominado como Puente de San Juan de Ortega, en referencia a la capilla que existía en su margen izquierda (en honor al santo que tradicionalmente se cree constructor del puente original). La construcción actual, de Fermín Manso de Zúñiga, data de 1884, tras el derrumbe del antiguo puente en 1871.

El puente de piedra es uno de los símbolos de la ciudad, apareciendo en su escudo y siendo el lugar de entrada del Camino de Santiago a la ciudad."

Puente de Piedra (Stone Bridge) is one of the four bridges over the river Ebro as it passes through Logrono, La Rioja capital. It is also known as Bridge of San Juan de Ortega, referring to the chapel that existed on the left bank (in honor of the saint who was believed the builder of the original bridge). Current construction by Fermín Manso de Zuniga dates from 1884, after the collapse of the old bridge in 1871.
