Entered into the National Register of Historic Places in 1979, the Davidson Windmill is maintained for display within sight of State Highway 13 about 4 miles from US Highway 2.

Built of native materials by Finnish immigrant and homesteader Jacob Davidson. Operated from 1904 to 1926 to mill locally grown grains for both livestock and human consumption.
