The stage is set up in the backside of the courtyard inside what was previously Fort Zoutman. No longer used as a fort, instead it's buildings house art work and the courtyard hosts a mini-festival every Tuesday night, featuring dancers, musicians, and poets.

There is a $5.00 fee for this entertainment, but it is worth it to see the dancers, listen to the music and poems and be thouroughly entertained for the evening.

The stage itself is not overly large, but it is sufficient for the venue. They have spotlights, lighting, and speakers for the music and Emcee to announce the next act.

It was built in 1798 by the dutch army and is the oldest structure on the island. It was renovated and re-opened in 1983 as the Historical Museum of Aruba
