En l'an 513, Murmaczon posait la première pierre de la petite chapelle : c'est alors que les Bretons baptisèrent l'île : Enez-Itron-Varia-ar Galloud (Notre Dame de Toute Puissance).
Depuis ce temps, la chapelle constitue un lieu de pèlerinage. Au XVIIe siècle, les corsaires morlaisiens la saluaient d'un coup de canon, lorsqu'ils quittaient le port pour attaquer les navires anglais.
Pendant la Révolution, elle fut abîmée et transformée en poste militaire. Entre 1801 et 1808, sur demande du recteur M. Nédellec et du Maire, la chapelle fut restaurée.

In 513, Murmaczon starts with the first stone of a small chapel. Bretons called the island : Enez-Itron-Varia-ar Galloud (Notre Dame de Toute Puissance).
Since this time, the church the chapel is a place of pilgrimage. In the 17th century, privateers greeted it by a shot gun when they left harbor to attack English battleships.
During the Revolution, it was damaged and turned into a military post. Between 1801 and 1808 at the request of Mr. President Nédellec and the Mayor, the chapel was restored.
