This compass rose is located on the grounds of Flushing Meadows Corona Park in Queens, New York. Located in what was called Gotham Plaza at the 1964 World's Fair, this rose greets you as you enter the park from the MTA or LIRR stations (or from Shea Stadium).
The rose itself is not entirely obvious - out of the circular plaza, around the edges, are north, south, east, and west markers.
