[DE:]Bad Ems war eine beliebte Kurstadt im 18 und 19. Jahrhundert.
Viele Gäste kamen aus Rußland und daher wurde in Bad Ems eine Russisch-Orthodoxe-Kirche geplant. Die Planungen begannen auf Anregung der Ehefrau des Zaren, Alexandra Feodorowna, im Jahre 1857 und kamen nach einiger Zeit zum erliegen. Erst eine großzügige Spende durch Zar Alexander II. ließen den Plan Wirklichkeit werden und 1877 konnte die Kirche geweiht werden. Die Kirche wurde der Hl. Alexandra geweiht. Der Grundriß zeigt die typische Kreuzform und verfügt über fünf Kuppeln. Die mittlere Hauptkuppel war ursprünglich mit Kuper gedeckt und wurde dann vergoldet.
Die Gemeinde ist heute noch aktiv. Die Kirche kann von der Allgemeinheit gegen kleines Entgelt (1€) besucht werden. Die Besuchzeiten sind in der Regel 14:00 - 17:00.

Many guests came from Russia and therefore a Russian Orthodox church was planned in Bad Ems. Planning began in 1857 and stopped after some years. Only a generous donation by Zsar Alexander II made be the plan become reality and in 1877 the church was finally consecrated. The church was consecrated to the Holy Alexandra. The plan shows the typical shape of a cross and has five domes. The central main dome was originally covered with copper and has been gold plated.
The community is still active today. The church can be visited by the public for a small fee (€ 1.00). The visiting hours are usually 14:00 - 17:00.
