Depicted small Classicist figural gravestone and bronze memorial tablet on the wall of cemetery Church of St. Clement (Kostel Sv. Klimenta) in cemetery of village Chržín marks gravesite of mathematician, meteorologist and Czech patriot Antonín Strnad.

Antonín Strnad (*August 14, 1746 in Náchod – †September 23, 1799 in village Sázená close to Chržín) was a Czech meteorologist, professor and rector of Charles University, and director of astronomical observatory in Prague' Klementinum. Antonín Strnad started with regular meteorological observations and daily continual recording of measured data in Klementinum observatory in 1775 and launched here the longest uninterrupted meteorological observation in the World. He also saved famous Prague' Astronomical Clock before destroying and managed its reconstruction in 1787-1791. Antonín Strnad was member of many learned societies of that time and also influential person of the Czech National Revival movement. He died (tuberculosis) in nearby Sázená during curative stay in Count Kinský' Chateau in Sázená.

The original inscription on the Antonín Strnad gravestone is gone for a long time, so patriots from Kralupy nad Vltavou Regional Museum placed (1935) on the church's wall above the grave bronze memorial tablet with following Czech inscription:
