It looks very soft and cushioning, but it is actually a hard limestone seat. It was placed by the Geelong City Council in December 2014, overlooking Corio Bay, Eastern Beach and the Geelong Waterfront.
Limeburning was one of Geelong's earliest industries, and many of the kilns were situated at this location.
