this facility is one of several in the Crystal Palace chain. When we went, there were many families, as well as singles, from teens to the more "experienced" age-wise!
Mrs Jiggs, an avid Roller Derbyist, skated circles around me as I survived my first time ever on 4 wheeled skates, without falling - a major triumph!
The facility has a pro shop, a large seating area, including a birthday/party room, and a large, well-maintained maple floor skating area. There is also a well-stocked snack bar. The skate rentals were included in the cost, about $10 per person for adults, cheaper if you had your own skates.
Hours vary by day of the week, with several times "blocked off' for private parties, etc. Generally, open skates are nightly from 7 til 10 PM.
There were several "special" skates for young and old.
