De Sassenpoort in de stadsmuur van Zwolle is een stadspoort die werd gebouwd eind van de 14de en begin van de 15e eeuw als onderdeel van de stadsverdedigingswerken. De architect is onbekend. Voor de bouw is veel natuursteen gebruikt, met name trachiet en tufsteen. De Sassenpoort behoort tot de Top 100 der Nederlandse UNESCO-monumenten.

The Sassenpoort, part of the city wall of Zwolle is a city gate which was built in the late 14th and early 15th century as part of the city defenses. The architect is unknown. For the construction much stone is used, especially trachyte and tuff. The Sassenpoort is listed among the Top 100 of Dutch UNESCO monuments.
