(fr)Ce pont à trois arches inégales en ogive est construit sur l’ancien chemin qui relie Amboise et Poitiers par Sainte Catherine de Ferbois. Il facilite alors le franchissement de la rivière l’Echandon par les « Jacquets » Pèlerins de la route d’Espagne vers Saint Jacques de Compostelle, qui devaient jusqu’alors traverser le cours d’eau à gué. Selon la légende, Jeanne d’Arc y passe pour aller chercher son épée dans l’église de Sainte Catherine.
(eng)This bridge with three unequal pointed arches was built on the old road that connects Amboise and Poitiers by Saint Catherine of Ferbois . He facilitates the crossing of the river Echandon by " Jacquets " Pilgrims of the road to Spain to Saint Jacques de Compostela, which were previously cross the river ford .
