I saw this town just before Christmas and the parterre was decorated for the party.
A part of life. Saintonge, was the name given to the house built to Victor Raoulx 1892-1893 and became the town hall Arue. The field had been baptized by the name of its builder "Saintonge", the name of a former province of western France corresponds to the south of the current department of Charente-Maritime.
The town of Arue buy Saintonge October 11, 1978, to transform it into City Hall.
J'ai vu cette mairie peu avant Noel et le parterre était décoré pour la fête.
Une part de vie. La Saintonge, c'était le nom donné à la maison que Victor Raoulx construisit vers 1892-1893 et qui est devenue l'hôtel de ville de Arue. Le domaine avait été baptisé par son bâtisseur du nom de "La Saintonge" , le nom d'une ancienne province de l'ouest de la France correspondant au sud de l'actuel département de la Charente-Maritime.
La commune de Arue achètera la Saintonge le 11 octobre 1978, pour la transformer en Hôtel de ville.
