The City of Niort hopes to find an agreement with the owners of the Trade Passage to revive this site in the heart of the city. To revive this artery founded in 1820, you must first rebuild the canopy that does not meet the safety standards and that deserves a serious facelift.
The Municipality has offered to buy this canopy to achieve this investment with the owners. The aim is to carry out the work in 2017 (the time to do the different formalities), and study the meantime a new commercial momentum for passage of downtown.



La Ville de Niort espère trouver un accord avec les copropriétaires du Passage du Commerce pour relancer ce site au cœur de la cité. Pour redonner vie à cette artère créée en 1820, il faut au préalable refaire la verrière qui ne répond plus aux normes de sécurité et qui mérite un sérieux lifting.
La Municipalité a proposé d’acheter cette verrière pour réaliser cet investissement avec les copropriétaires. L’objectif est de réaliser les travaux en 2017 (le temps de faire les différentes formalités), et d’étudier d’ici là une nouvelle dynamique commerciale pour ce passage du centre ville.
