Camp Chaipiti is a very huge scout campsite covering 250 acres of land. It has 5 sub zones and each of these zones is equipped with dormitories, bathing and toilet facilities, obstacle course challenges and also an auditorium. Surrounded by majestic hills, the campsite is very scenic and is also ideal for bird watching. There is a beautiful river within the campsite whose clear water flows from the nearby Chet Sao Noi waterfall. ‘Chet Sao Noi’ in the Thai language means ‘Seven maidens’ as there are 7 waterfalls there.

At the entrance of this campsite you will find a statue of Buddha and his disciple. This is because Buddhism is the main religion in Thailand and the owner of the scout camp is a Buddhist himself. Foreign visitors to the campgrounds are strongly advised not to climb up this statue as it is considered to be very disrespectful in Thai Buddhist culture. Not too far from the statue of Buddha is an interesting statue of a tiger wearing the uniform of a scout. This tiger scout is the official mascot of the 20th World Scout Jamboree which was held in 2003 in Sattahip, Thailand.
