SS. Simon and Jude is an active, medium-sized church which embraces the Anglican tradition.

History: On the 28th October, 1948 in Philipsburg a newly built Chapel dedicated in honor of S.S. Simon and Jude was blessed by the Bishop. By 1966 the congregation at SS. Simon and Jude had grown to such an extent that the Church had to be considerably enlarged, with the help of the Canadian Church. Fifteen years later the Church had grown to a congregation of 1300 and had to be enlarged still further. The new building was dedicated on Sunday the 9th May, 1982.
