While it may not get as much use as it used to, this antique horse trough still quenches the thirst for the horses that sometimes make their way past Bienville Square, pulling carriages through this historic southern city.

For those humans who are really thirsty, there's a water fountain attached to this horse trough for you. Do not be afraid both the trough and the water fountain operate on different water lines and both are connected to the city water supply. In other words, if you drink from the water fountain you won't be slurping up horse spit, and if they drink from the horse trough they won't be drinking any human spit. Happy happy :)
