Welcome to the Gulf Adventure Center!
Gulf Adventure Center, located between Gulf Shores and Orange Beach in Gulf State Park, offers the Hummingbird Ziplines for plenty of outdoor thrills, chills and adrenaline rushes, but there’s more. You’ll also experience personal growth and a sense of camaraderie and accomplishment.

HUMMINGBIRD ZIPLINES
A 2 Hour Adventure on a Circuit With More Than a Mile of Zip Lines!
Ground School
Get to know your two guides, learn safety protocols and get a feel for zipping on a practice course.
Swinging Bridge and Tower 1 to Tower 2
Cross the swinging bridge and begin your adventure. This is a short, easy zip allowing you to get acclimated and ready for the next challenge.
Tower 2 to Tower 3
The zip line from Tower 2 to Tower 3 provides beautiful views of Gulf State Park as you fly high over the gator pond.
Tower 3 to Tower 4
From the 90-foot high Tower 3 platform, you’ll zip across Lake Shelby running parallel to the beach, giving you fantastic views of the dunes and the Gulf of Mexico.
Tower 4 to Tower 5
Crossing Lake Shelby once again and landing on the peninsula at Tower 5 you get a birds-eye view of the expanse and beauty of Gulf Sate Park.
Tower 5 to Tower 6
A quick, fun zip gets you to Tower 6 where you’ll start the final line of the course.
Tower 6 to Tower 7
This 90-foot tall platform with a dual zip line of 1,228 feet allowing you to zip side-by-side over the lake to the finish platform in Lake Shelby.

At Gulf Adventure Center’s Hummingbird Zipline course, you’ll sail high in the air, experiencing adrenaline-pumping velocity and breathtaking views over land and water alike.
The Hummingbird Ziplines are an unforgettable, high-adventure experience. Consisting of seven towers and six ziplines over the length of one mile, the Hummingbird Zipline course takes you as high as 90 feet off the ground. The height provides a great vantage point for taking in spectacular views of the white sand beaches and crystal clear waters found only at Gulf State Park.
Your personally guided zipline adventure will last about 2 hours taking you on an extensive course across six incredible ziplines, many over water and all with spectacular views. That’s right—we said water! Four of our six ziplines go over water, and the last one is almost entirely over water, culminating with a graceful landing on a deck about 200 feet offshore on Lake Shelby. (You won’t actually touch the water, but you can cool off with a refreshing swim after you zip.)
Each group of participants is accompanied by two thoroughly trained and knowledgeable guides, one to send you onto the line and one to receive you as you zip onto the next tower. The six run course was professionally designed as a mile-long loop from tower to tower, which ends where your adventure began.
On top of it all, our encouraging, experienced staff will ensure that your outdoor adventure is as comfortable as it is fun.

The Gulf Adventure Center houses an extensive photo department. Two professional photographers will follow your party's progress on the zipline course from special vantage points, capturing the action and scenery of our exceptional location. A portfolio of photographs of your party will be waiting for you upon completion of your tour. These images are presented on large monitors for your review and are for sale at our photo department."
