Begonnen als een huiskamer gemeente tot in 1954 het kerkgebouw in gebruik genomen kon worden. Er was toen nog sprake van een Hervormde Gemeente. In 1957 is de Gereformeerde kerk in Kraggenburg opgericht. In 2007 is de Kerk na verschillende samenwerkingsverbanden gefuseerd tot de huidige Protestantse Gemeente Kraggenburg.

De gemeente heeft ongeveer 250 leden. Iedere zondag en op hoogtijdagen worden erediensten gehouden die gemiddeld door 60 personen worden bezocht. Tevens is er een samenwerking met de Rooms Katholieke Parochie in het dorp. Twee maal per jaar wordt er een gezamenlijke dienst gehouden.


Started as a small congregation in a livingroom, the church building could be taken in use in 1954. By then it was a Reformed congregation. In 1957, the Reformed Church established in Kraggenburg. In 2007, the Church has merged after several partnerships to current Protestant Church Kraggenburg.

The Church has about 250 members. Every Sunday and on special feastdays worship services are held that are visited by an average of 60 people. There is also a collaboration with the Roman Catholic parish in the village. Twice a year a joint service will be held.
