Mill Mountain is located in Roanoke, Virginia and can accessed from either downtown Roanoke or from the Blue Ridge Parkway. Once on top of the mountain enjoy the view of the City below. While you are there take time to enjoy the Mill Mountain Zoo, and the giant Roanoke/Mill Mountain Star. Free parking is available and it is just a short easy walk to both the Star and the Zoo. This area is also very popular at night, both for the grand view of the city and for visiting the Star which is eluminated each night. The Park closes at 11:00 p.m.
