Skinner Butte history

You can drive to the top of this butte named after city founder, Eugene Skinner, and enjoy lovely views of Eugene and Springfield.

To get there take Pearl St. going north, turn left on Third St., take a very sharp right at the main intersection, Skinner Butte Loop and go to the top for the viewpoint.
