A small plaque in the bushes near the bust of Louis Antoine Juchereau de St. Denis twins the cities of Natchitoches LA and Beauport Quebec.
The reason: St Denis was born in Beauport, and as a French explorer, founded Natchitoches and explored the area then called "New France", but that is better known now as Louisiana.

The plaque is in English and French. It reads as follows:
