This is a "casa particular", the Cuban version of a B&B, located in Habana, more specifically in the Malecon, the sea promenade of the Cuban capital city.

Casa Blanca was one of the best things in our trip to Cuba and exploring this wonderful country was a true blast. Everything is just perfect in this casa particular. Location: couldn't be any better; damn Habana Vieja and all the mess and tourists... in Malecon one can walk easily to most of the spots of Cuba, in both directions... to the Old City, to Centro Habana, to Vedado. And Malecon is special by itself... it embodies the charm of Cuba, the old one, pre-Revolution, and the current Cuba... it was above my expectations. Staff: couldn't be any better; what a team! Everybody is friendly and full of joy... we made friends of them all, true friends, I believe... we had great talk, we had all the help and advices we could need... this people will have a space in my heart forever. The House: couldn't be any better... it's zillions of levels above the Cuban average... stylish, reviving the old glory of the pre-1959 Cuba, transports the imagination of the guest to other times... what a beautiful decoration, what a view... the Caribbean sea, the ships entering the harbor, the classic cars cruising the avenue outside... the balcony with its nice stools, offering a privileged view over all this.
It will be such a sweet memory, our daily routine, leaving at 6 AM everyday to see the dawn outside, and coming back, tired, after a day walking, and enjoying the classy atmosphere of the house and the warm welcome of the staff there.
I loved the mini-bar fridges, offering a cold drink after hours sweating... and lay down on the bad and enjoying the view of the Malecon.
As I said, all was perfect. I totally recommend this place and definitely would stay in Casa Blanca again. A very very sweet memory, a true symbol of Havana.

Justification for Recommendation:
Staff couldn't be friendlier; the location is outstanding, with views over the ocean across the street and easy walking access to everywhere in the center, but still out of the mess. Unique design and decoration.
